Microtransit Survey Toolkit

The Microtransit Survey Toolkit is a free, ready-to-use library of real customer survey questions for microtransit services. Questions were pulled from published peer-reviewed studies and evaluations of microtransit deployments across the U.S. and Canada, duplicates were removed, and questions were sorted by topic.

Every question keeps its original wording and lists its source, so agencies can build a survey quickly, avoid starting from scratch, and compare results against peer systems.

The survey toolkit was created in the summer of 2026 by Amelia Thomson and Candace Brakewood at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and funded by PATH-TN. Please reach out to Candace Brakewood (UTK) with any questions.
